Strategic defaults
March 5th, 2010 4:17 PM

I am receiving more inquiries about my opinion on "Stategic Defaults" in the below article. Please remember that there are potential Tax and Legal ramifications that should be answered by your Attorney and Tax advisor before making a decision. You may also refer to my webpage for Foreclosure vs. Short Sale info. Yes, some people have been buying new homes before doing their Short Sales, but Lenders have caught on to this, resulting in more stringent lending requirements. If you are considering a Strategic Default, I suggest you call Brian below to see what you may qualify for, and the effect on your credit scores.
